Translator Portuguese / English

Translate written content from Portuguese to English and vice versa, maintaining the original meaning and tone;
Review and edit translated texts for grammatical accuracy and consistency;
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards;
Conduct research to understand context, idiomatic expressions, and cultural nuances;
Handle confidential material with discretion and professionalism;
Assist in the localization of materials for specific audiences;

Fluency in both Portuguese and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages;
Previous experience in translation or similar roles;
More than 3 years of experience;
Deep understanding of grammar, syntax, and cultural nuances in both languages;
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy;
Ability to work with translation tools (e.g., SDL Trados, MemoQ) is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Languages, or a related field (preferred);
Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
Strong organizational and time-management skills;
Spoken and written English.
