Job Description



The Sales & Marketing Services Specialist for Safety & Industrial Business Group is a vital partner to the overall business. He/she will act as the interface between the group sales & marketing teams and customer operations.



As such his/her role is expected to connect and serve as liaison assigning sales & marketing issues to the right stakeholder within the Customer Operations Organization [COO] where he/she belongs. The role is regional and covers Middle East & Africa and the new hire will be based either in Dubai, UAE; Riyadh, KSA or Johannesburg, South Africa



The role is positioned within the Customer Operations Organization, and the candidate will report primary to the Sales & Marketing Services Leader for Middle East & Africa.



Job Responsibilities



The selected candidate will:

• Raise request for expenditures submission & follow up until the PO is initiated


• Drive product local activation or new product activation


• Coordinate sample requests


• Action pricing errors & questions for pre-order processing
• Provides internal and external pricing quotation in alignment with the business marketers and the Pricing & Analytics team.


• Provide price deviation analysis in alignment with the pricing & analytics team as well as with the business marketers


• Provides weekly status update to both businesses to ensure efficient sales and marketing operations

Desired Education and Skills



2+ years of relevant work experience in multinational environment



Bachelor’s degree in business or commerce from a recognized university. Master appreciated



Microsoft suite mastery [excel, word, PowerPoint]



Experience with working with SalesForce.com



Strong executional & communications skills (numerical, verbal and written/visual) – with both external and internal stakeholders.



Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to multi-task working with matrix teams and multi-functional stakeholders dedicated to driving marketing activities, a team player with strong interpersonal and team building skills.
