Overview:

You will enjoy a varied role and a wide range of interactions on a daily basis. You will get exposure to many different aspects of the business and will work on site and international-based projects.

Reporting to the Senior HR Manager, you will play a critical role in delivering the HR plan at our Customer Service (CS) site in Cape Town. You will work closely with the HR team supporting across the site to help ensure great experience for our associates and managers.

General Scope of Role:
The HRBP supports the operation of the site by contributing to the delivery of the world-wide CS HR plan, working closely with the HR team and operations.

As a HRBP, you will be regarded as the subject matter expert with full site program ownership/project management of standard core people processes. You will manage, plan and set your own priorities based on overall direction from the HRM. You will also execute standard company-wide programs and develop plans to localise where appropriate, actively seeking opportunities for invention, simplification and problem solving of standard work programs. You are the principal associate facing role for HR, linking back to the broader, global HR team for escalations, reporting, updates and opportunities for HR process improvements.

Roles and Responsibilities
§ Implement employee surveys and questionnaires and analyze and action planning based on survey results
§ Responsible for onboarding and partnering with the recruitment team in hiring leaders based on business forecasts. This includes remuneration and benefits consulting in partnership with our global Compensation & Benefits partners
§ Partner with business leaders and other support functions to maintain a highly motivated and engaged workforce
§ Implement new policies, procedures and programs in support of Business operations
§ Understand and implement site specific HR systems and ensure sanity of data maintained
§ Understand the pulse on the floor and take necessary initiatives in partnership with Ops to drive a more engaged culture
§ Provide MIS support for Attrition analysis, includes- analyzing Exit interview , observe trends and highlight important aspects, prepare and publish dashboards
§ Drive engagement initiatives in client areas/Ops
§ Drive Performance Management process and system, such as the organizational leadership review/ Career Path sessions/talent management initiatives for with Ops leaders
§ Support the L&D team in conducting training needs assessment for employees across levels when required
§ Responsible for statutory compliance in labor laws in partnership with the ER team and legal counsel in CS
§ Working with cross-functional and geographical teams for project management specific to HR and implementation of the same at a local and possible international level.
§ Responsible for the implementation of HR Programs and projects


Basic Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
§ Education level, a three year qualification at NQF Level 6 or higher in an HR related field
§ 5 to 7 years experience in a HRBP/OD/HR related role
§ Ability to influence and partner with different levels of the organization to achieve results.
§ Strong business and HR acumen, including strong problem solving skills, critical thinking, and analysis.
§ Strong understanding of Labor related laws and statutes.
§ Should be proficient in using MS Office, Excel and data related tools.

§ Experience working in a Customer Service working environment would be preferred
§ Exposure to OD (Organisational Development) is preferred
