We are currently recruiting for our subsidiary in Pemba a Finance Manager.


The Pemba Finance Manager reports to Country CFO and ensures that day-to-day information requirements are satisfied and that financial policies, processes, systems and controls are observed and functioning efficiently across the Bolloré Transport & Logistics Mozambique.



Responsibilities :

  • Supervising the branch financial team.
  • Be warrant on the reporting and ensuring data is processed on-time and meeting strict reporting deadlines.
  • Be responsible of the financial monthly closing of his branch.
  • Be responsible for raising P&L for the branch and give relevant information to his Branch Manager.
  • Be warrant on a good archives system for all financials documents in cooperation with his Chief Accountant.
  • Keeping invoices, bank, cash, sales/client and varied operations books (Accounting entry)
  • Accounts evidences: suppliers, bank, expenses relating to visitors (follow-up suppliers statement, bank reconciliation, confirmation of the suppliers balance, clients statement).
  • Preparation and payment of invoices.
  • Updating fixed assets files.
  • Be responsible to follow and give relevant information to the Branch Manager regarding the Gross Margin.
  • Assisting in the preparation and analysis of the management accounts.
  • Assisting in the production of P&L, Balance Sheet, Bank Reconciliations and Trial Balance for the company.
  • Deep involvement in the budget and forecasting process.
  • Be warrant to put in evidence discrepancies between actuals and Budget and communicate efficiently with the financial HQ Maputo.
  • Communicate effectively to explain complex financial concepts to individuals outside the finance sector.
  • Other duties as per request by Financial HQ or Branch Manager.
  • Be focus on his responsibility.
  • Prepare monthly activities report, compile statistics and insure that the Branch Manager provide relevant information to HQ.
  • Other duties as per request of Branch Manager or Financial & Administrative Director.
  • Adhere to BTL Business and Ethics Policy and to BTL Policies and Procedures.
  • Prepare the monthly activities report.

Profile

  • Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Management.
  • Qualified Accountant or Equivalent professional qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in financial control within financial services in big companies, preferential
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) is essential for the position.
  • Fluency in Portuguese (spoken and Written) preferential
  • Knowledge in French, preferential.
  • Strong skills and proficiency in MS Software. Familiar with Data Bases.
  • Experience in Accountancy software.
  • Mature, professional, punctual and organized.
  • Hard worker
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
  • Able to multi-tasking, team player.
  • Able to work under high pressure
  • Interpersonal skills, attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • High level of mathematical and problem solving.
