Introduction
Bureau Veritas Gazelle is recruiting an Admin Assistant. The position is based in Sasolburg and reporting to the Team Leader.

The Admin Assistant’s responsibility is to ensure administration duties are met, month end and reporting deadlines are met, and accuracy and attention to detail in excel capturing, and shall perform within the framework of the BV Quality Assurance system, the Code of ethics and BV Group policies.

Minimum Requirements
  • SHE Representative will be an added advantage.
  • Must have a valid code 8 driver’s licence and own car.
Job Specification

RESPONSIBILITIES OF ADMIN ASSISTANT
· Processing of all requisitions by completing purchase order forms and forwarding to Cape Town for approval.
· Maintain efficient filing system for the Sasolburg Office operation and arrange for archiving when needed.
· Submitting files for invoicing to Cape Town and ensuring the correct distribution of same.
· Controlling stationary, and other stock
· Extracting and entering data on spreadsheets and reporting same to client daily/weekly.
· Customer, supplier, staff and Team Leader liaison.
· Arranging Courier Services including required documentation.
· General Office Duties.
· Render services as well as undertake other work within the jobholder’s ability at the request of the Company.
· Book site stock in and out. (Seals; Books; String; etc.) Check stock levels.
· Bookings for annual Medical and other inductions.
  • Update permits, medicals, inductions at permit office
