You are responsible



To ensure that customers are properly trained to optimally use the solution delivered and maximize customer satisfaction. You are also responsible to support the sales process by highlighting the clinical advantages of our technology and provide customer feedback to our development team.



You are responsible for


  • Driving change in the Philips service market in BeLux to deliver our CI portfolio (IntelliSpace Cardiovascular, Xper Information Management, IntelliSpace ECG), resulting in growth and Net Promoter Score improvement;

  • Developing customer training for new installations and upgrades

  • Improving the sales of extensions, upgrades and new features for the installed base through clinical application consultancy;

  • Taking care of the Service Lifecycle at our current customer base, for the focused region;

  • Ensuring we have the right focus in the market on Clinical Workflow, Application Education, IT Support and Application Support;

  • Conducting regular visits to customers to obtain direct feedback from them about the solution usage, the quality of the training delivery and customer satisfaction;

  • Supporting and advising the sales consultants during acquisition especially on large complex solutions, in terms of identify clinical needs, product demonstrations and workflow analyses;

  • Identifying new sales leads towards our sales force;

  • Supporting the Ultrasound sales demonstrations by demonstrating CI product and workflow solution;

  • Supporting the CI project manager during planning, testing of upgrades and new installations;

  • Driving feedback from the customer/markets on our solution back to the Business Innovation Unit CI.


You are a part of



The Healthcare Benelux sales and service organisation with roughly 400 employees, with 135 active in Philips BeLux organization. You will be part of the CI sales and service team in the BeNeLux and working closely with the modality application specialists from Imaging Systems in BeLux, mainly Cardiac Ultrasound and on occasion Interventional X-Ray.



To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Someone with Clinical Imaging experience. Paramedical, biomedical or medical education. Preferably a few years of hospital experience, understanding radiology or cardiology workflow in practice;

  • Experience with clinical ultrasound is required, preferably echocardiography (Sonographer License preferred) Experience with cardiac (must) and angiography or interventional X-Ray is preferred;

  • Understand, convey, and teach others the clinical aspects and technical use of the specific solutions;

  • High energy, and self-driven mentality;

  • Affinity with IT Solutions, and be able to be the liaison between clinical and technical conversations;

  • Highly flexible and motivated team player, who can establish relationships both internal as external with our customers.

  • Fluent in Dutch and near fluent in French. English as secondary language.

  • Willing to travel (50-70% in Belgium)
